Project Background
A customer from Denmark selected our 7 inch display solution for a personal DIY project. The project was planned as a tablet-style device for showing weather forecast information. It was also intended as a gift project for his dad and for his own personal use, while serving as a hands-on learning project for coding, IT architecture, and hardware integration.
Project Requirements
The customer needed a compact display solution that could be used in a Raspberry Pi project with stable image output, touch interaction, and convenient connection for later enclosure development. Clear display performance and easy integration were important for the project.
Solution Provided
We provided the YH070WVSL-P01 7 inch display solution for this project. According to the specification, this model supports HDMI input, multi-point capacitive touch, and DC 5V power supply. It is designed with a dedicated Type-C power input, an external USB data input for touch control connection, and a 40-pin LVDS display interface. The product name on the specification also indicates 1024x600 resolution.
Project Testing And Feedback
During testing, the customer successfully got the display working and confirmed that image output through HDMI was correct. After use, the customer shared that the display looked very crisp and clear, and the overall quality was very good. He also mentioned that the next step would be to make a 3D printed housing for the device.
Application Value
This case shows that a 7 inch HDMI touch display can be used in DIY smart display projects, personal development projects, weather information terminals, and other custom tablet-style applications.
Customization Support
For similar projects, we can support display solution matching based on different project needs. Integration details such as connection method, touch solution, and other application-related requirements can be further discussed according to the project.
